World ParaDarts Players Eligibility Process

For Member Bodies’ Players to Play in World ParaDarts Tournaments they must follow the process laid out below:

1) Meet the World ParaDarts Eligibility Criteria, please read this document, by clicking the button below, to see if you meet the qualifying criteria.

2) The Player must provide documentary evidence that they meet the eligibility criteria by:
a) A completed and signed World Paradarts Assessment form. Or provide a WDDA (version dated prior to 1.6.20) or BDDA Assessment form.
b) Confirmation by a current International Paralympic Committee qualified classifier in writing.
Documentation provided in a language other than English may require a translated copy, certified by an approved translator.

3) The Player must pay a £5 annual players fee, once it has been confirmed they are eligible to play

Please note:
Any Player who wishes to compete in ParaDarts must satisfy the World ParaDarts that he or she has an Eligible Impairment. This could require further information in addition to the medical assessment, depending on individual's circumstances. It is the players responsibility to provide the information required to show that they have the eligible impairment which may include details of any diagnostics under taken my medical practitioners. This information must be provided by the player before before any reviews or decisions can be made. 

3) The tournament Host and the Tournament Director are responsible for ensuring all entered players have the required paper work to confirm their eligibility.

4) The Darting body to which the player belongs is also required to keep copies of the assessment forms which they will ensure the players have given their consent to provide the World ParaDarts with a copy if required.
