Application to host a Cup Tournament
We are looking for host organisation for the following tournaments:
European Cup 2027
World Cup 2028
European Cup 2029
World Cup 2030
If you are considering hosting one of these tournaments take into account the considerations detailed below and then complete and submit the initial application below.
The tournaments will need to include the Inclusio and Paradarts category and be run to our rules, which can be viewed at the bottom of this page.
You will need to have a venue:
- that provides sufficient space to cater for aprox 30 teams, being 150 players of which 50ish could be in wheelchairs.
- It's location should be easy to reach- consider airports and railway routes.
- Accommodation especially with disability access should be locally available.
- Ensure the availability of food at the venue.
- Ensure that the playing area has suitable flooring for the disabled players.
Tournament details:
- Dates for the tournament are not set but currently they have tended to run in the later part of the year, dates need to avoid clashing with our main annual tournaments
- Each Cup event will run the following tournaments:
- ParaDarts Wheelchair singles and pairs
- ParaDarts Standing Singles and pairs
- Inclusio Singles and Pair
- ParaDarts Team event
- Inclusio Team event
- consideration will be given toward having separate ladies events as our numbers increase.
The host organisation is responsible for the following but not limited to :
- arranging sponsorship,
- all of the organisating
- set up,
- Take down
- obtaining sufficient vlunteers
- running of the tournament
- Streaming
- all costs
- (World ParaDarts may help with a main board sponsor)
It is recomended that the applicate shadows the organisers at the previos years tournament to gain experience before hand
