Gaby Wehrt

Gaby Wehrt, 54 years old, living in Hamburg, Germany, playing darts for 38 years, started with e-darts, about 5 years ago I started to organise online (Radikaldarts) tournaments.

Privately I have been organising darts tournaments for over 12 years. I play in 4 leagues in Hamburg 3x e-darts and 1x steeldarts with HSV. I have only been playing darts for about 2 ½ years and that only came about when I was asked if I would like to be part of the 1st Paradart National Team Germany.

I came to Paradart because I am partly in a wheelchair. I still throw standing up, but I don't know how long that will last. As far as my illness is concerned, I have been suffering from pain since I was 16, which limits my freedom of movement. I also have osteoarthritis throughout my spine and suffer from restless leg syndrome. I have limpness in my legs, pelvis and shoulders.

Through Corona, my stone darts have now increased so much that I have also started to play international darts via Webcam Dart. Since the 1st Lockdown I have been organising tournaments via Webcam Dart.

In August 2020 I founded the group Paradarter Classic and Compris on Facebook. Since that day I organise tournaments and leagues for the Paradarter via Webcam Dart. Before that I took part in the 1st Paradart World Championship in Oostende (Belgium), I also took part in several Paradart tournaments in Assen.

My first stone darts tournament was in Assen 2018, where I finished 5th. But my biggest success was in 2019 in Husum where I finished 1st. Furthermore, I also reached 3rd place in Vejle 2020 (Denmark). Flensburg DDV Tournament 2020: There I then took part in various tournaments, 1x 2nd place and 1x 3rd place. In January 2021, WPD organised a lady’s tournament. Here I took 2nd place. March 2021 followed another Ladies Tournament, here I took 3rd place
